Contact Chris Jenkins
A native of Virginia,
Chris received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University in 1990,
and a Master of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and
State University in 1995. He worked in South Carolina and Georgia between 1994
and 1997 for Group III, Architects, Interiors, Planning and for the award
winning firm of Daniel E. Snyder, Architect. While there he was in charge of
several renovation/ adaptive reuse projects in Historic Downtown Savannah. Two
projects of note are the renovation of the Hamilton Turner Mansion into a 16
room bed and breakfast, and the Siefker Residence, a new construction infill
project within the Beach Institute neighborhood.
Returning to Virginia in
1997 he worked on large institutional projects for Calloway, Johnson, More and
West before joining Robert Winthrop & Associates in 1998. Here he has
worked on the largest and most complex projects in the office. His design skills,
combined with his historical and architectural interests, are well suited for
our firm�s work load. His projects here include St. John�s Episcopal Church,
Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Peakland United Methodist, St. Thomas More Catholic
Church in Lynchburg and numerous residential additions and renovations. Chris�
primary architectural interests are in historic structures and in finding the
appropriate ways to extend and enhance these buildings. He is registered in
both Georgia and Virginia.
Tina Wells, Draftsperson

Tina recently began a
second career after 15 years in the wholesale nursery business. With a Bachelor
of Arts degree from Campbell University in 1979, Tina is a recent graduate of
Southside Virginia Community College with an A.S. degree in Computer-Aided
Drafting and Design. She joined our staff in May 2000. The projects she has
worked on include The New Covenant Schools, Mountain View United Methodist
Church, Clarksville Presbyterian Church and Forest Presbyterian Church.
Julie Kline Dixon, Intern Architect

A recent graduate with a
Master of Architecture degree from the University of Virginia in
Charlottesville, Julie joined our staff in September of 2001. After receiving a
Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College in 1996, Julie worked for the
award winning firm of Thompson and Rose Architects in Cambridge, Massachusetts
for two years before returning to school. While at the University of Virginia,
she received a certificate in Historic Preservation and served for two years as
the president of the University�s Preservation Alliance. The projects she is
working on include the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Richmond and Oakland
United Methodist Church in Goode, VA.
